MPI On Campus

Current Chapters  -  Start a Chapter

About:
The success of MPI's work both domestically and internationally rests in part on the university campus chapters. These dynamic groups of students work hard to mature and encourage their servant-minded classmates to find their unique, deep-seated passion for serving others. The campus chapters also reach out in creative ways to to their campuses, to their local communities, and to MPI's international sites through fundraising and volunteer support.

Start a Chapter:
There is no preset mold of what a campus chapter should look like; much depends on the initiative of its members, individual universities and the cities around them. Within the broad mission of introducing college students to the developing world, Manna campus chapters can focus on a number of goals:

•  Raising awareness of international issues on campus

•  Serving the international and immigrant populations in their own communities

•  Cultivating a culture of service on their campuses

•  Sending volunteers to Manna on spring break and summer trips

•  Raising funds for MPI's international projects

Do you see a need for any of this on your own campus? If you are interested in starting a Manna Project chapter at your school, contact Chris at chris.taylor@mannaproject.org to begin discussing ideas, activities, and events that might fit your campus. Every campus is different; get creative!
